Back reads: At an expense of Dollars 2,000,000, the C. & N.W. Ry. have constructed a steel double track railroad bridge across the Mississippi River at Clinton, to supercede the old single track bridge which has been in use since 1865. This bridge is the most massive construction of any railroad bridge on the Mississippi.
Card is used with a 1912 St. Joseph, Missouri postmark. Mailed to Mr. Theo Dein at Alexandria, Nebraska. Condition is very good with some edge and corner wear and light soiling.
Lot of 8 vintage original South Dakota postcards. Six of the eight are unused. Dates range from 1900s to the 1960s.
Cards each measure approximately 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.
Condition is good with some signs of wear, which may include creased corners, edge wear, and or light soiling.
