Back reads: At an expense of Dollars 2,000,000, the C. & N.W. Ry. have constructed a steel double track railroad bridge across the Mississippi River at Clinton, to supercede the old single track bridge which has been in use since 1865. This bridge is the most massive construction of any railroad bridge on the Mississippi.
Card is used with a 1912 St. Joseph, Missouri postmark. Mailed to Mr. Theo Dein at Alexandria, Nebraska. Condition is very good with some edge and corner wear and light soiling.

Vintage 1910s political postcard. Arthur Capper Our Next Governor of Kansas.
Capper was governor of Kansas from 1915 to 1919.
Card is embossed with a picture of Capper surrounded by a U.S. flag, and pink roses.
Card measures 5.5 x 3.5 inches and is unused.
Condition is very good.

Softcover book measuring about 5 3/4" wide x 7" long.
38 pages of history and black and white photos, along with 10 postcards included in the back. Postcards are perforated so they can be removed from the book and mailed.
Book shows wear, soiling, and some creases to the upper corner, on the last couple pages and lower right corner of each lower postcard (2 postcards per page at the rear).
Overall fair to good used condition.
