Vintage original 1976 Simplicity sewing pattern 7698.  Men's Top Stitched shirt.

The top-stitched shirt with button and buttonholes or decorative snap fasteners, has yoke, collar and collar band, set-in sleeves, shirt-tail hem and pockets with flaps.  V. 1 has long sleeves with cuffs. V. 2 has short sleeves with tuck detail.

Pattern is uncut.  Some wear to the envelope.

Vintage original 1950s Advance Sewing pattern 7869.  Men's long or short sleeve sports shirt.

(V1) Long Sleeve version with shirt front and pockets in contrast. Convertible sports collar. Two patch pockets with flaps. Shirt back gathered onto shoulder yoke. Top stitching on pockets, shoulder seams and back yoke...flat-fell seams at arm holes, sleeves and sides. (V2) Short Sleeve version, all one fabric.
