Vintage and original 1940s 1st birthday postcard featuring a baby in a crib with sliding beads.
Card reads: His First Birthday. Sing a song of birthdays, count them one by one. May each one be happy. 'Specially this one. Blessed be thou of the Lord. Ruth 3:10.
Marked on the back: Form. S.P. Co. Printed in U.S.A.
Measures 5.5 wide x 3.5 inches tall.
Card is used with pencil writing on back, one cent stamp, and 1947 Minneapolis, Minn. cancel.
Condition is good with edge and corner wear, glue and residue at the four back corners, and a stained area along the right front edge.

Beautiful original large antique cards given as a Reward of Merit. This listing is for a set of two. Both feature a large red Rose and Lily of the Valley bouquet. Top card has a red border, bottom card has a blue border.
Both cards measure 7.5 inches wide x 5.5 inches tall. Both were presented to Anna Vongdol. One is dated 1886, the other 1887. Top card has a small number 400 in the lower left corner, bottom card is numbered 403.
Condition is very good with top card having a crease upper left corner and a soiled area near the upper right corner. Bottom card has a very tiny crease at the upper left corner.

This is the original page taken from the book titled, "Gems From Mother Goose". Illustrated by Sarah Noble Ives. Published circa 1900s by McLoughlin Bros. Inc. Page offered is double sided with color illustration on the front, "Tom He Was A Piper's Son". Back side has a black and white illustration. Heavy weight paper. Condition is good with a few small tears along the edges, small crease lower right corner and soiling.
Page size is 9.75" wide x 11.5" tall. Color illustration measures 7.5" wide x 9.5" tall. Would be super cute framed and hung in a child's bedroom. Small tears and crease would be hidden by matting or frame.

This pretty original 1900s paper Greeting postcard features a spray of golden yellow sunflowers and a red butterfly. Has a poem on the left side the "Language of Flowers" by C. Preston Wynne.
Some of the letters in the poem didn't fully print on the card so it is somewhat hard to make out a few of the letters.
Card is written on in pencil and has a one cent stamp. 1909 Daykin, Nebraska postmark. Addressed to Miss Lena Milius at Helvey, Nebraska.

Contains many black and white and color photos of the various floats and football players.
