Page measures 6 7/8 inches wide x 9 inches tall.

Shows Dr. Foster, along with a small verse below.  Some of the other characters from the book are depicted in the border along the bottom and sides.

Verse reads:

D's Dr. Foster, whom all of you know,
Who journeyed to Glo'ster in the long, long ago.
But he stepped in a puddle in a down pour of rain
And never will journey to Glo'ster again.

This is an original page from the book, not a reproduction. Gleaned from a book that was beyond repair.

Good condition with some small soiled spots along the edges, small crease upper left corner, age toning and a small tear center top edge.  Also has the original holes along the left edge from the string binding.

Back is blank.

Fantastic colorful illustration that would look amazing framed, or could be used in an art project.
