Vintage Original 1960s Girls Size 10 Dress Simplicity Sewing Pattern 8171.

The dress with high round neckline and back zipper has gathered skirt stitched to dart fitted bodice.  V. 1, 2, and 3 have Peter Pan collar and set-in sleeves gathered at armholes.  V. 1, 3 and 4 have ribbon sashes.  V. 1 made of embroidered border fabric has bias bound, short puff sleeves.  Overlay of embroidered border trims bodice front.  V. 2 and 3 have long sleeves gathered to snapped cuffs.  V. 2 with purchased belt has lace trimmed contrasting skirt.  Sleeveless and collarless V. 4 is trimmed with embroidered eyelet edging.

The blouse with ribbon drawstring slipped thru neckline casing has slit opening above center front seam and raglan sleeves gathered with elastic casing.  V. 1 and 3 have long sleeves.  V. 2 has short sleeves.  The back-wrap gathered skirt without side seams has waistband and tie ends.  Midi-length V. 1 features rick-rack trim. V. 2 is mini-length.  Ankle length V. 3 has rick-rack and lace edging trim.
