Vintage original 1950s USED New Baby Congratulations greeting card lot.

Graphics include:

1. Baby in basket
2. Baby swaddled in brown glittered blanket
3. Baby sitting on an open book
4. Baby in diaper held up by a pink safety pin
5. White rattle with ribbon
6. Baby bib featuring a rabbit

Smallest card measures about 4 1/8 x 4 1/2.  Largest card measures 4 1/2 x 5 3/4 inches.

Cards are used and all have a signature or writing inside.

Publishers include: Rust Craft, Hallmark, and Quality Cards.

No envelopes.

Great for scrapbooking, journaling and altered art projects.

Vintage original 1940s and 1950s USED Congratulations on New Baby greeting card lot.

2. Embossed card of baby in a blanket with pink bow
3. Baby in frilly cradle
4. Baby in diaper held up by a silver toned embossed safety pin
5. baby in cradle
6. Baby with head lying on frilly pillow

Smallest card measures about 4 1/8 x 4 1/2.  Largest card measures 4 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches.

Cards all have a signature or writing inside, except for the safety pin card. It is unused.  Condition for all is good.

Publishers include: Grinnell, Harry Doehia Co., Gibson, Rust Craft, and Quality Cards.

No envelopes.

Great for scrapbooking, journaling and other paper projects.

Vintage original 1940s USED Congratulations New Baby Greeting Card. Features scenes of the new parents in the baby nursery, with the mother running about.

Vintage original 1940s USED New Baby Greeting Card. Card is die cut in the shape of a bassinet.  Pink spray of Roses at the side, and pink bow at the end of the bassinet.  There is a small pink plastic rattle and small blue plastic teething ring attached to the side with a real blue ribbon bow.  Card front is embossed.

Front reads: Congratulations Mother and Dad.

Card opens to a verse.

Inside reads: A precious little bundle tucked in a tiny bed, A world of happy plans around a baby's nestling head; Sincere congratulations and best of wishes, too, May the world by very good to baby and to you!

Marked on the back: 811. Made in U.S.A.

Card measures 5 3/4 inches wide x 4 1/2 inches tall. Condition is very good with ink signatures, and inscription inside.  And brown age toned area on the back of the card.

Vintage original 1940s USED "So It's a Boy" New Baby Greeting Card. Features a little boy dressed in blue overalls, getting into all sorts of mischief around the house.

Front reads: So It's a Boy. He'll tear up the House. And he'll scar up the Floors.

Card opens to more scenes of the little boy.

Inside reads: He'll scratch all the Tables. And slam all the Doors. He'll get into anything you leave around -- But he'll make you the happiest people in town. Congratulations!

Vintage and original 1950s used Easter Greetings Card.  Features a bouquet of Purple Violets and Pussy Willow branches.

Front reads: Easter!

Opens to a verse inside.

Reads: An Easter wish that's most sincere: May the days be glad ones through the year! Happy Easter!

Card measures 3 3/8 inches wide x 4 1/8 inches tall.

No publisher mark.

Condition is fair.  It does have a handwritten date of 1950 on the front, and the back has scrapbook paper and glue residue. Used with ink inscription on the inside.  And it appears to have been trimmed along the right edge.

Vintage and original 1950s used Easter Greetings Card.  Features two adorable yellow ducks.  One is holding a large pink flower, the other is holding a large blue flower.

Front reads: At EASTER A Message of Cheer

Opens to a scene of the ducks walking in grass.

Inside reads: Here we come! Bringing You Happy, Snappy, Easter Greetings!

Card measures 4.5 inches wide x 6.25 inches tall.

Vintage and original 1950s used Easter Greetings Card.  Features two adorable bunnies, a basket of colored eggs, and a pink and yellow Tulip.

Front reads: Just For You

Opens to a scene of bunnies playing leap frog.

Inside reads: The gay Easter Bunny has hopped a long way, To bring you this wish for a Bright, Happy Day!

Card measures 4.25 inches wide x 5.25 inches tall.

Vintage original 1950s kid's Birthday Greeting Card. Features a little boy in bed.  Boy is wearing a red and white polka dot night cap.

Front reads: Happy Birthday. The other night I had a dream it really was a pippin---

Card opens to the boy dressed in a top hat and holding a jeweled cane.  Money bags, cash and coins at his feet.

Inside reads: I had a million dollars with diamonds I was drippin!  I wish I knew the recipe to make that old dream true - I'd wrap it up right quickly and send it on to you!  Happy Birthday anyway!

Card measures 4 1/4 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches tall when closed. Condition is good with pencil signature inside, small piece of yellowed tape at upper right corner of the inside, and scrapbook residue on the back.  Missing lower left corner on the back.  Caused by removal from scrapbook.

Card measures about 6.5 inches wide x 4.25 inches tall.

Card is unused.

Condition is excellent.

Vintage and original 1930s Hallmark Die Cut Wedding Card.  Features a large antique button up boot or shoe. Tan area on boot is a piece of real felt fabric.

Card reads: Married? Well!!! Here is a Heart Felt Wish For Much Happiness Without Spats.

Printed on a card stock weight of paper.  Single piece front and back. Does not open.

Card measures about 4.5 inches wide x 5.25 inches tall.

Used with an ink signature on the front.

Hallmark Card Hall Brothers Logo appears on the back.

Condition is very good with some brown areas on the front from where an envelope flap was in contact with it.

Vintage and original 1930s Art Deco Wedding Card.  Front features black background with a large wedding bell at the center surrounded by Peace Lilies, pink Roses, and small blue flowers with a shiny gold border.

Front reads: On Your Wedding Day

Card is printed on a card stock weight paper with the flower cover printed on a parchment type paper, and attached with a cream colored ribbon.

Inside reads: May the happiest part of your life begin, With the hours of your wedding day, And the years that come and the years that go, Prove it to be still that way.

Card measures about 4.25 inches wide x 3.5 inches tall. 

Card is used with ink inscription on the inside.

Condition is very good.

Vintage and original 1930s Buzza Wedding Card.  Front features a large pink and green floral spray, a small pink and green floral spray upper right corner, and shiny silver border with small blue ribbon in the lower left corner.

Front reads: Wedding Congratulations

Once opened, it features a bridal bouquet with blue ribbons and pink flowers.

Inside reads: May the tie of true love, That nothing can sever.  Bind you both to each other, for ever and ever.

Card measures about 4.5 inches wide x 5 inches tall. 

Printed on a parchment type paper.

Back lower left corner is marked: Buzza, Craftacres, MPLS, U.S.A., 15 W 90

Vintage 1920s Birthday Greeting Card. Art Deco style featuring a spray of pink, white, blue and yellow flowers in a black vase. And a silver foil border.

Reads: Birthday Greetings Brother.  Hearty greetings to you, Brother and the best of wishes, too, May good health, good luck, good pleasure, Every day accompany You!

Card measures 5.5 inches wide x 4.5 inches tall.  It is a lighter weight card stock and is embossed.  Card does not open. 

Condition is very good.

Vintage circa 1980s or 1990s Hallmark Mother's Day card.  Front is made up of two layers.  Bottom layer features pink butterflies at the center and a blue border at card edges.  Top layer is die cut and is edged with gold foiled fretwork, pink roses, and a small pink bow at the top.

Front reads: For my Wife

Card opens to a verse inside.

This is a large card measuring 6.25 inches wide x 8.75 inches tall.

Vintage and original 1940s super cute children's birthday card.  Features a little girl with a puppy.  Girl is dressed in a blue sailor suit.

Front reads, "Happy Birthday. Underneath this old fashioned."

Card opens to the little girl dressed in pink bathing suit. Reads, -greeting- is an Up-to-the-minute with for Many Happy Returns!

Card measures 4 1/4 x 4 7/8 inches.  Condition is very good and card is unused. No envelope.

Vintage Folding Valentine Card featuring two adorable yellow ducks.  Front reads, "Please."

Card opens to reveal a verse. Inside reads, "My Valentine is near Not Far, I'll Spell Her Name For You, It's Teacher, And Don't I Like Her Too!"

Card measures 3 inches x 3.5 inches when closed. Condition is very good with ink writing on back, some soiling to inside and back, and small piece of paper stuck to chalkboard (see photo 2).
