Vintage Original Advance Buttons and Bows Half Apron Sewing pattern.

Buttons and Bows was the hit song in the Parmount Picture “The Paleface” starring Bob Hope and Jane Russell.

(V1) Apron with pouch pockets. Rick Rack braid and embroidery for trimming.

(V2) Apron with contrasting ruffles and Rick Rack for trimming.

Perfect for border prints, stripes, prints and plain fabrics. Skirt is gathered onto waistband that ties in a bow at back. Patch pocket at right side. Edges finished with novelty binding.

Vintage original 1990 Butterick See & Sew Sewing Pattern 5040.  Young girls Jumper and blouse. 

Jumper, above mid knee, has loose fitting, dropped waist bodice, pocket, dirndl skirt and back zipper. Semi fitted blouse has collar back button closing and long sleeves with button cuffs. Narrow hem.
