Vintage Mid Century Samsonite overnight luggage train case in a rich brown. Metal plate on center front marked, Shwayder Bros. Inc., Samsonite, Denver, Colorado.
Great little overnight travel bag or train case. Case measures 13 1/8 inches wide x 8 1/2 inches deep x 8 1/2 inches tall. Has brass colored hinges and clasps. Clasps and hinges work nicely and do show some wear to the finish.
Over all the condition is very good with some tiny flecks of white paint and a small nick on the front.
There is also some light soiling/staining near the right clasp and below the keyhole. This is not noticeable unless held at just the right angle.
Inside features an elasticized pocket at the front and back. And an elastic strap at both sides of the lid. The interior lining is nice with a small discolored area near the front left edge and some light soiling.
No key.
Would display nicely! Use as a photo prop or in a luggage stack.
