Metal label outside reads, "JC Higgins Trade Mark." Case measures about 16 3/4 inches wide x 11 inches tall and 8 inches deep at the bottom, tapering up to 7 1/8 inches deep at the top.
Has a curtain type piece inside the top and the bottom that attaches with metal hooks, to keep items separated.
Inside is pretty clean with some spots of light soiling.
Condition of this case is good. There is scuffing and soiling to the outside, and the gold toned hardware shows a lot of wear.
It was definitely used!
Latches both work fine.
No key.
Weighs almost 6 lbs without box or packing material.
