Vintage 1936 Chesterfield Cigarettes Advertising Letterpress Large Printers Block 6 x 8

Vintage 1936 Chesterfield Cigarettes wood and copper advertising letterpress printers block.

This is a large block measuring 6 inches wide x almost 8 1/8 inches tall.  Wood backing is just under 7/8 of an inch thick.  Has a metal loop at the top, so it can be hung on a wall.

Copper plate is nailed to the wood block and features two women seated near a small table, which is under a framed portrait hung on the wall.  One of the women is holding a pack of Chesterfield Cigarettes up, as if to offer the other woman a smoke.

Print reads:

Chesterfield well that's different

  • Their aroma is pleasing
  • they're milder
  • they taste better
  • they burn right
  • they don't shed tobacco crumbs
