Vintage 1930s linen postcard number 1053. Panorama of Rawlins, Alt. 6787 Ft., on the Lincoln Highway (U.S. 30). Between the Continental Divide and the North Platte in Southern Wyoming.
Rawlins is a prosperous city on the Lincoln Highway in the heart of the vast prairie stretches of Southern Wyoming. Its pleasant tree lined streets and green lawns are a striking change from the wide and rolling plains, with scarcely a tree traversed for miles along the highways leading to town.
