Written and compiled by The Nebraska Writers' Project, Work Projects Administration, Federal Works Agency.  Published by Woodruff Printing Company, Lincoln, Nebraska October, 1940.

Contents include: Indian Place Legends, Historical Legends, Ballads, Legends of Febold Feboldson, Animal Legends, Reminiscences of Dad Streeter, Dance Calls, Santee-Sioux Indian Legends, Early Nebraska Cooking, and Pioneer Recollections.

Condition is very good with some wear to covers and previous owners name written on cover.  Interior pages are very good with some age toning and first few pages have indentation from a paper clip at top center.

Great gift for the Nebraska history buff!
