Verse reads:

B is for Beauty and the terrible Beast--
I don't wonder she feared him, oh, not in the least!
But his heart was so good and his deeds were so kind
That, in spite of his looks, Beauty soon changed her mind.

 

This is an original page from the book, not a reproduction.  Gleaned from a book that was beyond repair.

Good condition with some soiling along the edges, small crease upper left corner, and age toning.  Also has the original holes along the left edge from the string binding.

Back is blank.

Fantastic colorful illustration that would look amazing framed, or could be used in an art project.

Shipped flat with cardboard backing in clear protective sleeve.
