Vintage Boys Town Nebraska Metal Bookmark on Original Unopened Card. 

Bookmark is made of metal and measures about 2 1/2 inches long x 3/4 of an inch wide at the top. 

Features the Boys Town seal, which has a blue background.

Card reads:

Vintage Globe Wernicke Pressboard Filing Guides.  These are the Legal Size measuring 14 7/8 inches wide x 10 inches tall (including tab with hole at the center bottom).  The black metal tabs stick up an additional 1/2 inch, for a combined total height of 10 1/2 inches.

File guides come in the original red Globe Wernicke cardboard box.  One set, number 5525-M. Metal Tab. 25 dividers A-Z. 

These appear to have never been used.  Condition is very good with the first divider age toned a darker color.

The box shows wear including tape on the bottom.

Nice sturdy dividers that would be awesome in a period file cabinet cabinet.  Or in your home office.

Card reads:

Vintage Metal Telephone Address Directory.  This is pocket size, measuring 2 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches and about 1/4 inch thick.

Front has a raised design that includes a telephone, and the words: Doctor, Police, Fire Dept, Grocer, and Butcher.

The dial along the right side slides up and down in order to select the alphabetical listing you're looking for.

Opens up using the button at the bottom.

Good condition with some soiling and tape residue on the back.  Inside only contains pages for MN, OP.

Adorable circa 1950s piece for your office or to repurpose.

Vintage Old Town Dawn Typewriter Ribbon Tin.  Aqua background with red and blue lettering.  Features a patriotic woman dressed in red and blue, surrounded by white stars.

Measures about 2 5/8 inches x 2 5/8 inches. 

Has obvious wear and scratches.

Still a neat looking patriotic advertising piece for your office.

Vintage Sanford Giant Pencil Sharpener.  Made of metal with the rotating size indicator made of plastic.  Can be mounted on the wall or a desk top.  Four holes on the base for mounting.

Measures about 4 3/8 inches x 4 7/8 inches, including handle. 

Has been used but looks almost new.  No screws included.

Vintage Smith Corona Skyriter Portable Typewriter.  Comes with the original brown softside carrying case, with two handles for easy carry.

Also comes with the original product manual, Touch Typewriting Chart, Warranty Card, and red handled Smith-Corona brush.  These are in good condition, but do have some wear, soiling, foxing, a small piece of tape attached, etc. 

Carrying case measures about 12 1/2 x 12 inches, not including the handles.

Typewriter is used.  There are a few scratches on the case and some wear on the space bar (please view all 12 photos). 

Keys all work as they should.  Could use a cleaning and a new ribbon.

Carry case is in good condition also, zipper works as it should, there is some soiling to the interior and exterior.

Overall a very nice vintage typewriter!

Vintage circa 1940s Wilson's Paper Gummed Letters and Figures in the original wooden Combination Box.  The Tablet & Ticket Company of Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. 

Information from the pink label inside the lid:  This Box Contains an Assortment of Letters and Figures as Shown Below.  Letters are gummed and were to be used for making your own signs, show cards, price tickets, charts, and tabulated statements.  Can be used directly on wood, cardboard, etc.

Box measures 13 inches wide x 7 1/8 long x 2 1/2 tall.  Dovetailed corners with metal clasp and metal hinges.  Fantastic original red and gold paper label on the top of the box.

Interior is divided into 6 sections by wooden dividers.  These sections are further divided into compartments by card stock weight, paper tabs.  Paper tabs are labeled as "A, B, C, $" etc.

Inside box label says three sizes of letters and figures were included: 22 (3/4 inch tall), 23 (1 inch tall) and 25 (1 1/2 inches tall).

Characters include:

• Letters A-Z
• Numbers 00 and 0-9
• Special figures of $, ¢, &, ., ',

Most of the sections have at least one letter or figure, some have multiples, and a few of the more common letters have none at all.  All letters are gummed paper and in black. 

Condition for the letters and figures is very good with some having curled from years of storage. 

The box is in very good with some small scratches and wear to the outer paper label. 

Awesome vintage letters to use in journals, or just display the box!
